Region Skåne is working to promote research in Skåne, and thus strengthen the region’s growth.
Environment and nature
Nature and good environments contribute to Skåne’s development. Region Skåne’s role together with other actors is to drive development in the right direction and to, as a large organisation, be at the forefront.
Regional Archive
Region Skåne holds and preserves public records in order to respect the principle of public access to information. Additionally, the Regional Archive caters to the needs of research, the operations of Region Skåne, and the legal system.

Every year, Region Skåne buys products and services for around 35 billion SEK, which is a little more than half our budget.
