Research
Region Skåne is working to promote research in Skåne, and thus strengthen the region’s growth. The research we support must be of high national and international quality, and of use to citizens and health care.
Much of our research and development work is run in collaboration with other parties. Collaboration takes place within the region as well as nationally and internationally.
Research within Skåne’s health care operations shall provide:
- citizens with new knowledge through improved preventative health care, diagnostics and treatments
- care providers with new knowledge through better education and increased knowledge
- society with new knowledge through growth, better collaboration with universities, and innovation stimulation.
