Environment work at SUS
Skåne University Hospital is working aggressively on environmental issues. The aim is to have the minimum possible impact on the environment. In 2009, the operations in Malmö and Lund were awarded environmental certification in compliance with ISO standard 14001. In 2010, our environment work will focus on creating a collective environment management system for Skåne University Hospital (SUS) as a whole.
Health-promoting hospital
In addition to curing people and providing palliative care, one of our hospital's important duties is to prevent diseases and to promote health. Skåne University Hospital is a non-smoking hospital and a member of the World Health Organisation (WHO) Health Promoting Hospitals network.
