If you get ill or need advice about your health, your should contact the Primary Care Centres. They are open weekdays from 08.00-17.00 (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
You have the right to get medical assessment the same day you contact us. Call the primary care and if you are considered in need of immediate treatment you will get an appointment.
We work together as a team. It means that sometimes you meet a general practitioner (GP) and sometimes you meet a district nurse, physiotherapist or someone else of our professions.
If you have chosen a Primary Care Center or a GP you should contact them.
You can also call the Health Care Information at
1177, it’s open 24-hours a day all year around.
At The Health Care Information you get:
- medical advice from a registered nurse,
- advice on how to take care of yourself, or
- information on where you can go if your condition calls for care by a doctor.
In emergency call 112.
